PXE-DCM+ projector controller

 

The PXE-DCM+ device control module provides a simple, standardised control interface for projectors in a single gang form factor. The device routes sampled infra red or RS232 command codes directly to the display. Unlike the original projector handset, which may be lost or require fresh batteries, the PXE-DCM+ is always there when needed providing clear, precise operation that all users will appreciate.

 

Display devices and replacement lamps are expensive. The PXE-DCM+ can be programmed to shut down the display after a predetermined period of non-use or using the real time controller module, at a specific time every day.

 

The PXE-DCM+ is easily reprogrammed for new projectors if required. External control functionality is embedded within all display devices and projector warranty is not effected in any way

PX2-MP control system

 

The PX2-MP is a modular, infrared-learning audiovisual control system. It ships ready to surface mount on a wall, lectern, desk or blank panel in an equipment rack. The processor controls up to eight devices and is supplied with a variety of snap in control buttons and labels for specific device command. The PX2-MP is supplied with one infra red emitter. Control of additional devices requires the purchase of extra emitters (part no. PXE-EMIT).

 

Simple control even in a darkened room

 

Illuminated pushbuttons provide audible feedback and can be configured to adjust to ambient lighting conditions; can be programmed with multiple infra red codes for macros and other common automation tasks. Typically, a single press can switch on the projector from standby, pre-select a particular computer to view and then perfect the image on screen. Control of video devices is particularly easy as the panel features familiar, industry-standard transport controls.

 

Protect your investment

 

Display devices are expensive. If users inadvertently leave the display on, you will have costly lamp replacements. The PX2-MP offers automatic shutdown of the device. If the display has discrete power commands (ON/OFF) the controller can be configured to turn the display off after a certain period of inactivity (based on time since the last key was pressed).

 

Control that’s future-proof

 

As the PX2-MP controller uses industry-standard infra red and RS232 control to communicate with displays it can be simply reprogrammed as and when the display brand or model is changed. External control functionality is embedded within most projectors and monitors and the warranty of these displays is not effected in any way.
